Cathy's Beach Connection in Juno is truly a hidden gem that rewards its finder with great food and even better experience.
I was brought to Cathy's beach connection under the recommendation of an individual who has been frequenting this establishment for more than 20+ years. I was suggested to try the crunchy fish sandwich. It is a valid statement to say that, the fish sandwich at Cathy's beach connection is the best that I have ever had in my life.
What makes the fish sandwich so tasty and unique is that it the fish is fried with sweet and savory corn flakes. It truly heightens the flavor of the high quality fish. The fish in the sandwich is that of a very tender and flaky cut.
I love this place! They also have inexpensive alcoholic beverages if you are interested in that.

I am so sad because I wanted to love this place. I enjoy supporting local places like this and everyone seems to love it! It's a great location and the menu has so many options.
Sadly, our experience was not great. Perhaps it was an off day for them but there were no other patrons in the restaurant. The food still took 25 minutes to be ready, but we assumed it would be really fresh!
To our dismay, both lunches were pretty awful. The chicken was so rubbery and chewy in both the taco and the chicken cheesesteak.
The chicken cheesesteak was flavorless and still expensive. I pulled the chicken off and just ate the bread.
The tacos completely fell apart after the first bite of the hard shell. The same issue with the chewy chicken applied here.
I would not recommend this place. Maybe I'll try to come back when it's more in season and give it a second chance. -

This local place is so great ! My personal favorite is the quesadilla but another popular favorite is the crunchy grouper sandwich ! Everything is so good and fresh and the atmosphere is so lovely. They also have $2 draft beers which is a nice plus !

I've only been here for breakfast and it's always been good. Nothing really amazing or outstanding but it's yummy, the service and atmosphere is laid back and they are always willing to modify to my liking. They also have twice bent the rules and served me breakfast after 11 when I had a late start ;)
It's never crowded and you won't have to wait. As far as when I have been here.

The wife and I were really hoping for the best for this place and what a let down. The waitress smelled of cigarettes. My wife order the "homemade" mac n cheese and it was microwavable at best and very watery. Nothing gourmet about the food. Not sure if it's because we came during off season. Food tastes like something from freezer to microwave.
